Uniform
At the Academy, we have clear expectations of uniform and appearance. Our school uniform assists in the development of a unified culture and conveys a strong message about our standards in school and the community.
Students must be impeccably presented in the correct school uniform at all times. The WVA uniform consists of a navy jumper with school logo, school tie, a white collared shirt or blouse and dark grey trousers. The school only allows one style of skirt and grey suit style school trousers. All socks and tights must be plain black.
The summer uniform is optional and consists of either grey tailored shorts or the skirt which may be worn with plain black ankle socks. For the winter uniform, students should be in trousers and black tights must be worn with skirts. Jumpers can be worn all year round but removed in hot weather.
Shoes should be plain black, formal school style. We do not accept trainer style footwear, open toes, boots or high heeled shoes.
